This assembly concert is a great way to celebrate by connecting with Aboriginal Culture.


About this Experience

THE EXPERIENCE This assembly concert starts with setting the mood with an acknowledgement of Country, followed by Barama presenting interactive storytelling & dance, accompanied by the mystical sound of the didgeridoo as played by Ganga Giri. Ganga will introduce the didgeridoo and gradually take the students on a musical, tribal didgeridoo and beats dance frenzy. A great concert with plenty of audience participation - the students enjoy learning rhythm and dance and celebrating multi-cultural Australia in the now. WE SUPPLY Amplification and microphones, two performers including an Aboriginal dancer and world-renown didgeridoo virtuoso Ganga Giri. WE NEED Enough space for all students. FEE $2090 incl. GST (per performance up to 45mins)

Ganga Giri, world renown didgeridoo performer, will present the didgeridoo - both in words and in live music. After an introduction to how a didgeridoo is made and played Ganga will demonstrate a range of animal sounds and solo rhythms, followed by some of his original music tracks, where he combines the didgeridoo with dynamic, electronic beats - modern tribal music at its best! Included is a presentation and discussion of the history and the making of didgeridoos, traditional bush food, hunting tools, musical instruments & arts and crafts. Full of crowd participation and dance for Primary School aged children, guaranteed to have you moving and learning in a fun and relatable way.
