Target practice with non-returning hunting boomerangs!


About this Experience

This is an introduction of students to throwing non-returning hunting boomerangs. Every student will receive a boomerang for the duration of the program. THE EXPERIENCE A short introduction of different boomerang types is followed by a safety briefing and a demonstration on how to throw a hunting boomerang at a target. Under active supervision students will engage in throwing practice. Students will then form two groups for a fun competition to find out which team scores the most points! We Supply: High-quality, hand-crafted hunting boomerangs, targets and position markers. We Need: An oval, one teacher to assist with the supervision of the students throughout the program. $495 incl. GST (per class, max. 60 minutes)

Ganga Giri, world renown didgeridoo performer, will present the didgeridoo - both in words and in live music. After an introduction to how a didgeridoo is made and played Ganga will demonstrate a range of animal sounds and solo rhythms, followed by some of his original music tracks, where he combines the didgeridoo with dynamic, electronic beats - modern tribal music at its best! Included is a presentation and discussion of the history and the making of didgeridoos, traditional bush food, hunting tools, musical instruments & arts and crafts. Full of crowd participation and dance for Primary School aged children, guaranteed to have you moving and learning in a fun and relatable way.
