Aboriginal Culture

Highly engaging and resource-rich, this interactive ‘show-and-tell’ program is a great introduction to Aboriginal culture!

THE EXPERIENCE

A comprehensive presentation and discussion of traditional cultural activities and their interrelation with seasonal changes in the natural environment.

Our educator will showcase a large range of authentic Aboriginal artifacts relating to hunting, music, arts and crafts. Throughout the session several objects (boomerangs, animal skins, possum skin game ball, emu eggs, baskets and more) will be passed to the students for that memorable, hands-on experience.

With live didgeridoo music joined by the students playing clap sticks and a demonstration of how to make Aboriginal paint.
