About this Experience

THE EXPERIENCE In this program students learn the stories of Bunjil and Waa, get introduced to a number of Aboriginal symbols, learn about traditional paint (made with ochre, clay and charcoal), traditional bark painting, and work collaboratively on either a large format Eagle or Crow mural. (Multiple murals if chosen as part of the Whole School Program) WE SUPPLY Pre-prepared “Bark Painting”support (craft paper with gesso and an outline of a bird), brushes, paints/pens & large banners illustrating Aboriginal symbols. WE NEED Tables in long form layout, adequate space for participants to gather around the mural and easy access to a sink to clean the resources. Fee $550 + GST (per class, max. 45 minutes)
