Didgeridoo Australia - Community Celebration

Community Celebration

Whole centre program: A bespoke community celebration for the entire centre!

About this Experience

This bespoke event is an ideal way to celebrate culture with your whole community and provide several highly engaging activities through out the whole event.

THE EXPERIENCE

The event starts with a Welcome to Country performed by a local elder, followed by a smoking ceremony – a special blessing for your centre and your audience.

Up to three interactive experiences are then run simultaneously in different areas at your centre, designed for participants to join in at their leisure:

1) Collaborative Art - painting murals of Waa the crow and Bunjil the eagle

2) Artifacts - tactile exploration of a large range of authentic cultural objects

3) Song and Dance - interactive live didgeridoo music and dance performance

(*We can also arrange for a permanent mural to be created for your Centre that can be added to collaboratively by your children.)

We supply:

Up to five educators / performers, including an elder. All materials for the rotational activities. Amplification for live music. Decorative banners.
